Marathon’s Premium Asphalt Hot Boxes are heavy duty, fully insulated, and customizable to suit your needs! Our units are diesel fired and equipped with an oil jacketed material vat to keep your asphalt warmer for longer periods of time when traveling between job sites. The hydraulic scissor hoist creates superior stability when unloading asphalt, to decrease operator fatigue & keep your crews working!  These units are ideal for Cities and Municipalities, as well as contractors both big and small!

• Material vat is polyhedral in construction, with a 10° rear-sloped floor, and all other walls channeling material directly towards rear gate.
• Single electric actuator top loading door opens 107º and covers front burner and components from spillage when loading at the asphalt plant.
• Tandem axle trailer design is versatile with a low center of gravity which gives the unit more stability.
• An 8 gallon tool rinse tank, 4 pc tool rack, 3 gallon release agent spray bottle with holder and 2 traffic cone holders come standard on all models.

Over 25+ years experience manufacturing oil-jacketed equipment, these hoppers can also be used as a reclaimer to reclaim asphalt.
Although all of our equipment has a reputation for out-lasting the competition, the lifespan of an oil-jacketed unit is longer than an air-jacketed unit. The
oil absorbs the heat from the burner and the flame no longer acts as the heat source for the asphalt which saves the life of the steel.
Oil-Jacketed units produce an even heat distribution throughout the whole hopper, so asphalt won’t harden up and burn unevenly. This design is superior
at retaining heat and comes standard with automatic temperature control.
Oil-Jacketed models come with a 120V overnight heater to keep asphalt warm overnight to minimize heat up time the next day.

Hydraulic Dumping angle is 42°, plus the 10° provided by the floor. Safety lock-out bar can support vat at 20° for maintenance. Hydraulic scissor hoist for superior stability when dumping asphalt. Ease of unloading asphalt is assisted by the hopper-shaped design of the material bin, to decrease operator fatigue. Alarm sounds whenever tilt system is operated downwards for operator safety.
